A bridge is the space between.
Not a journey from somewhere bad to somewhere better. Just a place where two sides can meet.
A familiar word, seen differently.
A bridge connects two places. But what interests me is not only where it begins or where it ends.
It is the space in between.
That is how I think about much of what happens at brid9e.
We may find ourselves between what was and what comes next. Between what we understand in our minds and what we feel in our bodies. Between an old pattern and a different possibility.
The 9 came from wanting the name itself to interrupt something familiar.
You recognise the word bridge, but something is different. For a moment, you have to look again.
That felt right.
Not two opposites. Two parts of the same life.
brid9e is interested in the spaces we often separate. Not because they need to become one, but because something can change when we allow both into the conversation.
brid9e was never meant to be only about one person.
It began with the work I practise and share, but the idea has always felt larger than that.
I want brid9e to become a place where different practices, practitioners and people can meet without everything needing to belong to one tradition or one way of seeing.
There may be individual sessions, gatherings, workshops, retreats and learning. Some things will come from ancient traditions. Others from contemporary therapeutic understanding. What matters to me is not fitting them under one label, but whether they help us become more curious about our experience.
brid9e can grow as the people around it grow.
Curious? That’s enough to begin.
You can come with a question, a feeling, a pattern you keep meeting or simply with the sense that something needs attention.
