When everything feels like too much.
You may be functioning, working, caring for others and getting through each day. But underneath, your mind rarely stops, your body feels tired, or you have begun to feel disconnected from yourself.
Maybe you recognise this.
You tell yourself things will settle down soon.
After this week. This deadline. This difficult period.
But one thing finishes
and something else takes its place.
And slowly, being overwhelmed
starts to feel almost normal.
What do I need?
You may not need to try harder.
We begin by slowing things down.
Rather than immediately trying to remove anxiety or overwhelm, we notice what is happening in the body, in your thoughts, and in the way you have learned to respond. Inquiry, meditation, body awareness or constellation work can enter from there.

I used to think slowing down meant stopping.
For a long time, I thought the answer to having too much going on was simply to manage it better. Be more organised. Get through the list. Find some time to rest.
But I have come to understand slowing down differently.
Sometimes it is just a few moments of noticing what is happening inside while life continues around us. The breath. The tension in the body. The thought that says I have to keep going.
We don’t have to change any of it immediately.
Sometimes noticing is where something begins to soften.
Curious? That’s enough to begin.
You can come with a question, a feeling, a pattern you keep meeting or simply with the sense that something needs attention.
