Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 3rd September 2026
1. About this policy
This Cancellation Policy applies to standard sessions booked directly with brid9e.
brid9e is operated by Vikram Setia.
We understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or move a session, please let us know as early as you can.
2. Cancelling a session
The following cancellation terms apply to standard individual sessions:
48 hours or more before your session
You can cancel for a full refund.
Between 24 and 48 hours before your session
You can cancel for a 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours before your session
The session fee is non-refundable.
The cancellation period is calculated from the scheduled start time of your session.
3. Rescheduling a session
If you need to move your appointment rather than cancel it, please contact us as early as possible.
A session can be rescheduled without charge when at least 48 hours’ notice is given.
For requests made between 24 and 48 hours before the session, the same 50% cancellation terms normally apply.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the session are normally treated as a late cancellation and the session fee remains payable.
We may use reasonable discretion in exceptional circumstances.
4. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will be returned to the original method of payment.
The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
5. If brid9e cancels
If brid9e needs to cancel your session, you will be offered either:
- a new date for the session; or
- a full refund of the amount you paid for that session.
If we need to change an appointment, we will try to give you as much notice as reasonably possible.
6. Late arrival and missed sessions
If you arrive late for a session, we will still try to make useful use of the remaining time. However, it may not be possible to extend the session beyond its original finishing time.
If you do not attend a booked session and have not cancelled in advance, the session will normally be treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice and will be non-refundable.
7. Workshops, groups, retreats and other experiences
Different cancellation terms may apply to group workshops, retreats, studio events, organisational work, private experiences and other bespoke bookings.
Where different terms apply, they will be explained before you make the booking or included in the relevant proposal or booking agreement.
Those specific terms will take precedence over this policy for that booking.
8. Statutory cancellation rights
If you book a service online or otherwise at a distance, you may also have cancellation rights under UK consumer law, including in some circumstances a statutory 14-day cancellation period.
Different rules can apply where you ask for a service to begin during that period.
Nothing in this Cancellation Policy limits or replaces any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
This is important because the Consumer Contracts Regulations provide cancellation rights for many distance service contracts and contain specific provisions where performance begins during the cancellation period.
9. How to cancel or reschedule
To cancel or reschedule a booking, please contact us directly.
